Michael J (Sean) Gannon
CHAIRMAN |
Sean joined Ryan Hanley Consulting Engineers on graduation from the National University of Ireland Galway in 1966. He became a Partner in the firm in 1976 and Managing Director in 1983.
As Managing Director, Sean guided the advancement of Ryan Hanley to its current position as one of the main providers of Consulting Engineering for the NDP Priority Infrastructure Programme, including Transport 21 Roads, Water Services Investment Programme, and Strategic Development for Foreign Investments. |
Sean retired as Managing Director in July 2008 and continues an active role in the firm’s affairs as Chairman.
Sean holds a Civil Engineering degree from the National University of Ireland Galway, is a Fellow of Engineers Ireland, a member of the Institution of Highways and Transportation, a member of the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management, and an ACEI Registered Consulting Engineer. |
Sean served as Extern Examiner to the Civil Engineering Degree Course at the Institute of Technology, Sligo.
Sean is past President of the Association of Consulting Engineers of Ireland. |
